Auto hosts

Is there any solution to auto write in hosts file? In OpenServer I can do it. Why there aro no so very usefull future?

Because the hosts file is part of the Operating System and you require Admin rights to change the hosts file. Its not usefull to let any user modify the hosts file, its stupid. Anyway the hosts file of a server is not worth very much, its quite more important to adapt hosts files of the clients. This cannot be done by OpenServer anyway.

Finally, using the hosts file is cumbersome and outdated, which is only useful in very small test environments. Otherwise DNS servers are used nowadays instead of hosts files.
