XAMPP crashes on upload image through Wordpress

Hi,

I have installed Wordpress on a localhost, machine Windows 10 64bit with XAMPP 3.2.2 32 bit.

I am able to run the wordpress site OK, but I am unable to upload any images anymore through the wordpress interface. Once I use Media -> Upload, the whole XAMPP Control Panel crashes and drags with it the MySQL server and the Apache server. I checked the error log, but no error is shown related to this.

I tried installing Imagick to fix this problem. It is now installed, but still it does not work.
I increased the memory of the server to 512MB and tried to upload very small files (<100kb).

Is this a known issue with XAMPP? Any idea where to look for a solution?

UPDATE:

XAMPP also crashes when I try to update the plugins. It seems that anything that takes a bit longer (>10sec) can crash XAMPP?...

Hi,

I have no information about a known bug.
We cannot try to recreate the issue because you did not provide the correct and full base information:

Some additional information are also needes, especially everything which relates your wordpress installation:
version number, installed and used modules and plugins, used template...
Is that a migrated website or was it created local from scratch?
