version 1.7.3 installer package

I am trying to install XAMPP 1.7.3 on OS X, but the download from sourceforge does not include an installer. It just includes the XAMPP folder to be copied to /Applications. So of course it doesn't run properly. When I launch the control panel, it says "Please follow the install guide exactly".

Last time I installed this (over a year ago), the download included an installer package. Anyone know the correct way to install this?

That says version 7.1.6 but I am asking about 1.7.3.
