MySQL Connecting, But No Port

Mysql starts up, but there is no port #. See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/vharfvr3iCJ

(If I connect on Apache, or any other service/module, they connect, and it shows a port. It's simply mysql that connects but isn't showing a port.)

I looked to see if any other programs are using port 3306, and I couldn't find anything.

Again, what is weird is MySQL runs, but it shows no port #.

I modified my config file for a very large .sql import, but I don't think that is the issue. Using sqlyog I was able to connect to localhost on port 3306 using the current config file.

Any ideas on what the issue might be?

I found the issue.

The "innodb_log_file_size" was too big.

I had to lower it to: innodb_log_file_size = 100M

Then the port started working.
