64 bit windows version

Any chance we could one day have a 64 bit windows version of XAMPP ?
We need to process some huge map images which cause memory out.

Maybe some day, i don't know.
Why don't you install the components on your own?

Either install Apache etc. from different distributors, or switch over to Linux (Xampp runs in 64bit on Linux). Many solutions, all better than waiting, waiting, waiting.... Nobody can give you a guarantee, that there ever will be a 64bit Xampp Windows version.

Yes I should but the joy of XAMPP is it makes it so easy.

cost of this easyness is that you are limited in other aspects like upgradeability and version control.

I am trying to install xamp onto win server 2016 64bit and I am just getting installation failed. Before I spend time looking for other reasons as to why, Can anyone confirm that xamp 32bit will or will not install on this setup.
