mysql not starting

Hi Community,

I have installed a small mysql server that I recently moved from one pc to another.
All paths and install folders are exactly identicaö with the previos system. Only difference (that I can think of so far) is that the new pc has a different IP adress and DNS name.
Not sure if that's causing the error but I am a xammp noob, so ...

The problem for me is that I cannot start the mysql, the event log shows the following:

Ich auch nicht - da sind nur "Note" (= Notiz), das ist nicht einmal eine Warnung, geschweige denn ein Fehler. Da steht kein Fehler drin, Du beschreibst auch keinen Fehler, nur "Not sure if that's causing the error but I am a xammp noob, so ..", aber was "the error" sein soll, weiß hier keiner. Du schreibst gar nichts dazu. Genauso viele Antworten bekommt man dann.

The problem for me is that I cannot start the mysql

Is just won't start. The Launcher starts it, freezes and in the end it is not started.
If I start it manually (using Windows's Services Panel) The service attempts to start and then ... well ... doesn't. Or it shuts itseld down immediately for no reason that I'd see.
Like it sais in the log. It shuts down. But why? It should attempt to start,not shut down right away.
