2:38:08 PM [Apache] Apache WILL NOT start without the configured ports free!
Is there any detailed instructions on finding the cause of Port 80 being blocked.. or must I just search google..

An excellent resource.. thank you.. suggestion next time you update the help info.. maybe its just dumb me.. but I kept trying to free up the port 80 and return to see if Apache would start and it continued to give me the port 80 fail.. being a beginner I had no idea trying to get apache to start again would NOT work.. just before I started to move on to other procedures I decide to shut down and restart Xampp.. and sure enough the full restart cleared my blocked port 80.. Not saying nothing was wrong it was and I had actually fixed the problem with the first command you suggested I perform.. its just that i did not realize it was fixed.. until a complete Xampp restart was done.
