Windows Security Alert (Private networks)

Postby crojas » 25. August 2016 06:36

When the Windows Security Alert came up during my installation that says, "Windows Firewall has blocked some features of Apache HTTP Server on all public and private networks," I accidentally clicked on the box that says, "Public networks, such as those in airports and coffee shops..." instead of the box that says, "Private networks, such as my home or work network." I have been told that this will not allow the program to work. How can I fix this problem?

XAMPP can work very well even with restricted firewall. A firewall will only block external requests, so you can use XAMPP on the same machine without any problems.
But here is an imaged tutorial about how to allow a program in the windows firewall => http://www.technipages.com/blockunblock ... s-firewall
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!
