Multiple Virtual Hosts but different directories

Hey guys.

I was wondering how I would go about doing different virtual hosts but with the first one being localhost just in the normal xampp htdocs directory and another being kept on my external hard drive? Also I'm currently using Xampp v.3.2.1 and the normal httpd.conf file doesn't appear to have a section for virtual hosts in it, I don't know why it just doesn't so could someone tell me where I could set these up with obviously first pointing to the C drive and the other my external which is currently E drive.

The virtual host definitions are outsourced at \apache\conf\extra\httpd-vhosts.conf
