windows cannot find '-n' is shown while setup xampp 7.0.6

When i setup xampp 7.0.6 version in windows 8.1

It's shown a message like windows cannot find '-n'

xampp control panel come but xampp is not start.

How can i solve it, please any help?

I have this same problem with Xampp v 5.6.23 on Windows 7 x64:

Then Xampp control panel will run, but Apache won't start.

No, not yet. For the moment, I removed it and installed an older version of XAMPP:
XAMPP version 1.7.7 with XAMPP Control Panel Version 2.5

It installs OK and all the services run, but I haven't tested much yet.

I do get the XAMPP splash screen at http://localhost/xampp/splash.php (and also at http://127.0.0.1/xampp/splash.php), so I guess Apache and PHP are working fine.

I will eventually try Xampp v 5.6.23 or V 7.0 again and if I get it figured out, I'll post here then.

I'm sorry, but we are not able to reproduce your issue. I just installed XAMPP on Windows and the installation worked properly. Could you please share with us some steps in order to try to reproduce the issue?
