Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Hello Xampp
I install the lasted xampp for windows version on a directory path "c:\OtherProgramFiles\xampp_2" and the controller wants to start mysql/apache on C:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe.
How do I update the directory path away from the default?
Thanks,
Dallas

There is a batch file in Xampp, i think its called setup_xampp.bat (or vice verse xampp_setup.bat) and as far as I know, you should execute this file when you install Xampp at a different location than the default folder.

Hi,
Nobbie is correct. Execute the setup_xampp.bat script.
If you have set a windows service to start Apache with system start you will need to remove and set it again.
Best wishes,
