installing ssl certificate from .pem

Hi all,


I have ssl certificate issued by subca in .pem format.I want to install this certifate in my web server.Mine is Xampp 1.7.2.
Any body guide me to this step by step.I have tried to open the file with notepad to separate .crt and .key but failed.

I have no idea what "subca" is and what ".pem format" is. This is not a Xampp issue. Why dont you ask subca how to install that certificate?

Sub-ca sub certifiaction authority, .pem is the extension of the certificate obtained.if anybody have any idea..
