Cant start Apache from controlpanel (NOT port issue)

Postby brobacker » 28. December 2015 20:31

Hi,
I have recently updated my XAMPP to

+ Apache 2.4.4
+ MySQL 5.5.32 (Community Server)
+ PHP 7.0.0 (VC14 X86 32bit thread safe) + PEAR
+ phpMyAdmin 4.0.4
+ OpenSSL 1.0.2e
+ ADOdb 5.18
+ Mercury Mail Transport System v4.62 (nicht in der Portable Version)
+ FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.41 (nicht in der Portable Version)
+ Webalizer 2.23-04 (nicht in der Portable Version)
+ Strawberry Perl 5.16.1.1 Portable
+ Tomcat 7.0.41
+ XAMPP Control Panel Version 3.2.1 von hackattack142 (Ein großes Danke Schön!)
Vgl.: http://www.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=46743
+ XAMPP Security
+ XAMPP mailToDisk 1.0 (schreibt verdendete Mails über PHP auf die Festplatte unter <xampp>\mailoutput. In der php.ini als Mail Default aktiviert.)

(although the controlpanel shows version 3.2.2)

My problem is now that I can not start Apache nor MySQL from the control panel. I can however start them from the batchfiles. The controlpanel also shows then status running. But when I try to run from the control panel I get this:

20:21:26 [Apache] Checking default ports...
20:21:26 [Apache] Attempting to start Apache app...
20:21:26 [Apache] Executing "d:\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe"
20:21:26 [Apache] Return code: 0
20:21:26 [Apache] Status change detected: running
20:21:27 [Apache] Status change detected: stopped
20:21:27 [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
20:21:27 [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
20:21:27 [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
20:21:27 [Apache] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check
20:21:27 [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
20:21:27 [Apache] If you need more help, copy and post this
20:21:27 [Apache] entire log window on the forums

and from MySQL:

20:22:00 [mysql] Checking default ports...
20:22:00 [mysql] Attempting to start MySQL app...
20:22:00 [mysql] Executing ""d:\xampp\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe" --defaults-file="d:\xampp\mysql\bin\my.ini" --standalone --console"
20:22:00 [mysql] Return code: 0
20:22:00 [mysql] Status change detected: running
20:22:01 [mysql] Status change detected: stopped
20:22:01 [mysql] Error: MySQL shutdown unexpectedly.
20:22:01 [mysql] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
20:22:01 [mysql] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
20:22:01 [mysql] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check
20:22:01 [mysql] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
20:22:01 [mysql] If you need more help, copy and post this
20:22:01 [mysql] entire log window on the forums

The errorlogs dont say anything. Both Apache and MySQL CAN be started from batchfile and work correktly. So it is NOT a port issue.

Anyone got an idea?

Read the thread at https://community.apachefriends.org/f/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=72590

It's an issue with the PHP 7 version of XAMPP.

What was the fault?
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!
