Error Accessing "User Accounts" from phpmyadmin

In its present state, MariaDB 10.x, at least with regard to User Management, is not usable. And since User Management is a fundamental component, MariaDB 10.x is useless.

Also, I tried deleting some of the garbage users that appear in the User accounts overview page and I could not do it, instead I got an SQL error. The garbage users bug appears to be a PMA problem since I only saw the real users in HeidiSQL User management.

Seems to be specific to Windows, on my Ubuntu Gnome Installation 64bit it runs flawlessly.

Thanks for your comments. It seems some of you have issues when you reboot the machine and have PMA extended configuration enabled on Windows. We are investigating these spurious users that appear in PMA and check if there is a workaround for that.

I would say the spurious users is a secondary problem. In that, though frustrating to have spurious users, the primary problem still is the deletion of data in table db, and at times, the reappearance of the data in table db. That is the primary MariaDB bug in this instance I would argue.

But, the appearance of spurious users in PMA is a pain. And the spurious users do not show up in other GUIs. However, in other GUIs, the true, created users do not show up either when, on a particular reboot, MariaDB has deleted table db.

It is like it has its own AI XD
Sometimes it is working as it should, sometimes does not. I reboot my machine and it is working when doing NOTHING more than cheeking MySQL users after that i reboot the machine again and then it is not working, restart again and NOW its working hahaha XD. Trolling me pretty much that's it.
But somehow i think it is getting better because i couldn't even enter user account once and had problems starting MySQL but not now.

I installed the new "fix" version 5.6.14-3 only to have no access to the db via phpmyadmin. I went back through my saved versions and the only one that will work correctly is 1.8.3. Once all the dust clears around MariaDB, I might be interested in updating xampp. Until then, I'd rather be able to actually use the db. My main problem is that I can't add a new user when MariaDB is the db, because the new user isn't in the "privileges" table. I'm not a database expert, so my only safe avenue is avoidance for now. I hope you get things worked out soon.

I don't understand this sentence. Of cause the user is not in the privileges table. You want to create it because it is not present
