xampp install issues

Hi. I'm trying to install xampp ver 5.5 (xampp-win32-5.5.28-0-VC11-installer) under win 7 ultimate. Im getting error not a valid win32 application. redownload and reinstall does not resolve this issue. Please help.

Sounds like your file is being corrupted by antivirus or download manager. Try the zip or temp disable application.
