I have an sql dump file to import that is 90megabyutes in size. According to phpMyadmin documentation, the latest version of the program should not have a problem with this.
Having had major problems with XAMPP 5.6.8 in that I can find no way of setting it up properly on my system without it destroying all my databases, I am loath to try installing a later version
so that I can download the data dumps from my websites. With about ten sites, its becoming a pain to use.
Can anyone tell me if any version of phpMyAdmin that comes with XAMPP can read in a mysqldump of this size? I have set up the variables to do this recommended by other users but I cannot get them to work. I always get a message saying that my file exceeds the maximum allowed of 48 meg.
The only way that I have managed to do it in the past is by splitting the file using note pad and downloading parts of it, but it is very difficult in a file that is so large.
All help gratefully received.
