How To Find Which Version of XAMPP I'm Running?

Hi:

I'm running a fairly old version of XAMPP on my MBP OSX, Yosemite. I want to upgrade to the latest XAMPP, and wanted to find the version of the old one. I poked and prodded in various nooks and crannies, but couldn't find a reference to the version number of the XAMPP package. FWIW, it's running PHP 5.3.0.

Also, any help in upgrading to XAMPP 5.6.3 would be much appreciated.
