What is the password for My SQL?? it is needed to set-up Joomla 3.4 , cant leave it blank ...

There is no password in newly installed Xampp, you must have changed it. The MySQL credentials are "root" without password.

I haven't changed it, could not find a spot to change it !! I thought that was what I had to do but couldn't and you cant leave Blank in newest distro of Joomla.....Everthing in XAMPP is set just like the install set it and im using your Joomla Install and it will not let you not put a pass in you have to enter one...

Sounds like an Joomla issue. Ask there.

Or start phpmyadmin and change password for "root".
