New Install issues

I uninstalled old version Xampp and updated to 5.6.3
My skype does not use ports they have been changed.
Installed as administrator but i can't start apache error log gives

Thanks reading as you typed.
Ok if i run as admin it starts, so i need to always run as admin, why did i never do this on old version?
Also i have a cmd prompt window open is that correct/normal?

Admin rights are only required if you choose to manipulate services through the control panel.
