Does changing the Apache port affect the mysql admin startup

I have an XAMP installation where the defaul Apache port number was changed to 8000. Now when I try to apen mysql admin I get an error telling me that the requested URL was not found on the server.However, I notice that the request seem to have been made on port 8080.

Is there a way to fix this?

Why? It is not recommended to change the HTTP Default Port (80 and 443 for HTTPS) unless there is no other solution.

How did you try open MySQL Admin and which was the requested URL?

This looks very very strange, as you did not specify Port 8080 for Apache, instead Port 8000. Are you sure about that?

I didn't. I believe that a support technician who installed a package called OrangeHrm on a new installation did.

I clicked on Admin button in the XAMP Control panel.

Not sure.
But when I click on the Admin button in the XAMP control panel the URL in the browser window that display the error message is http://localhost:8080/error_404.hsp?redirected=

In that case, you (or your employer) should ask OrangeHrm or whoever is responsible for your network.
