How to change 'localhost' to IP# within a page?

Postby paulsr » 20. November 2014 11:20

Greetings:

I have Wordpress installed along with xampp. Everything works fine.

But I want to be able to access the WP pages from other computers on my LAN.

I can access the main WP page from any computer by using the address http://192.168.0.103/wordpress and the main page loads, but it fails to load other pages like the stylesheet.

Within the main page, the URL of the stylesheet shows as http://localhost/whatever

Please can someone advise me how to do this.

Many thanks,

You have to change in Wordpress the setting for the Host (or Domain or Servername or whatever), replace "localhost" by the IP. If you dont know, where to do so, ask in a Wordpress Forum.
