MySQl läuft nicht an

Hallo Zusammen, Ich habe gerade XAMPP zum ersten mal installiert. Folgender Meldung im Window erscheint:

Eventuell hatte jemand schon einmal das gleiche Problem.

Diese Meldung

File K:\xampp\mysql\data\ib_logfile0: 'aio read' returned OS error 187. Cannot continue operation

deutet auf mehrere Probleme hin. Zum einen sieht es so aus, als wäre Xampp nicht unter c:/xampp installiert (so wie es empfohlen wird), zum anderen ist K: für uns leider nicht nachvollziehbar. Was ist K: für ein Laufwerk und wie geschieht die Zuordnung zu diesem Buchstaben?
