Can not open XAMPP after installation

Hello! I'm trying to use XAMPP (Version 1.8.3) on my Windows machine (W7 64 bit). I get through the installation without issues but then right after the installation when the program is launched i get this error message.

What is the cause of this problem?

Please Install XAMPP in the recommend path C:/xampp Not in your Program Files folder

Reason for the issue is that Xampp components are 32bit and Program Files folder will only run 64bit executables

Oh it was that easy of a fix. I followed a guide but I must have missed that part. I'll get back with results! Thanks!
