PHP issue

Postby ctwheels » 24. June 2014 18:41

I used XAMPP on my laptop to create the website, scripts, tables, etc.
I then downloaded XAMPP on another laptop to test over the LAN. This worked at first.

I have been having this issue for over 2 weeks now, I download XAMPP on a laptop, computer and server. After the session on those computers are interrupted (shutdown, restart, even exiting XAMPP, terminating its processes in Task Manager and restarting it) XAMPP decides to hate me.

PHP runs fine, then the above occurs, and PHP doesn't work. I have tried multiple downloads of XAMPP (I originally selected only a few of the modules that I needed - Apache, phpMyAdmin, etc.) then I tried the entire program, all the modules, nothing seems to work. I have to redownload XAMPP to get my website to work, and transfer all the files over etc. It is a pain.

The PHP script does not run, it either gets commented out or written to the page as content.

When I run XAMPP, both Apache and MySQL say they are working properly. Apache is running off ports 80 and 443.

Any help with regards to this is greatly appreciated,
Thank you

No we just reformatted most of these machines with Windows 7. We've also tested it on Vista
