Windows bootet nicht mehr, wie rette ich MySQL-Datenbanken

Hallo,
ich brauche mal ganz dringend eure Hilfe. Da mein Windows nicht mehr bootet muss ich die Datenbanken meiner XAMPP-Installation mit Hilfe einer Linux-Live CD (Ubuntu) irgendwie retten.

Reicht es da die Daten aus dem Ordner "mysql" zu kopieren und diese dann auf einem anderen Rechner zu überschreiben/einzufügen? Die XAMPP-Versionen sind identisch (1.8.3-4).

Es wäre nett, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte.

Das sollte eigentlich funktionieren. Den ganzen Ordner mysql sichern. Aber unbedingt beachten das beim zurückspielen gleiche XAMPP und MySQL Version benutzt wird. Auf dem anderen Rechner den Ordner mysql vorsichtshalber temporär z. B. mysql_$$$ umbenennen. Xampp und MYSql darf bei diesen Vorgehen nicht gestartet sein.

Also den kompletten Ordner zu verschieben funktioniert schonmal nicht, da beim Versuch, Windows auf einen Wiederherstellungspunkt zurückzusetzen, alle .exe und .bat - Dateien aus dem XAMPP-Ordner und dessen Unterordnern entfernt wurden.
Ich habe jetzt versucht, nur den mysql-Ordner zu kopieren/überschreiben, aber da erkennt er nichtmehr die Tabellen.
Im error_log beschwert sich MySQL über fehlende .ibd Files. Ich finde aber nirgendwo welche.
