Apache connecting error

Postby mkaf » 07. April 2014 19:16

When I try to start the Apache server I get the following error;

19:15:22 [Apache] Attempting to start Apache app...
19:15:22 [Apache] Status change detected: running
19:15:23 [Apache] Status change detected: stopped
19:15:23 [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
19:15:23 [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
19:15:23 [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
19:15:23 [Apache] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check
19:15:23 [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
19:15:23 [Apache] If you need more help, copy and post this
19:15:23 [Apache] entire log window on the forums

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yep,
The most likely cause of the problem is a blocked Port 80 by another application.
Please read your error message:

19:15:23 [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
19:15:23 [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
19:15:23 [Apache] Press the Logs button to view error logs and check
19:15:23 [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues

Have you done that?
If yes, then please post the error log.
