Run Registry Cleaner make fail to acces phpMyadmin

I try registry cleaner. After one day , i found i could not access to phpMyadmin from localhost/xampp. the eror messages are as follow :
MySQL said: Documentation
Cannot connect: invalid settings.
phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

I have tried to check and modify confic.php but still got that erros.
Please some one help on this error. Thanks a lot, i am very appreciate any solution suggested for this my problem
