Hallo

Ich habe soeben xampp auf meinem Rechner installiert. Erst konnte ich «Apache» starten, aber dann kam diese Fehler-Meldung. Meine xampp-Version ist 3.2.1. Wäre sehr froh, um nützliche Tipps!

Das wären wir ebenso. Der Auszug aus dem Log Fenster den du hier gepostet hast ist nicht ausreichend um eine Ferndiagnose zu stellen.

Wir benötigen mindestens den vollständigen Verlauf des XAMPP control Log Fensters.
Unter Umständen ist auch der Inhalt des \xampp\apache\logs\error.log notwendig.
Als dritte Informationsquelle wären noch die Rückgabemeldungen von \xampp\apache_start.bat interessant.

Erst danach können wir dir nützliche Tipps geben dein noch unbekanntes Problem zu lösen.

Der Control Panel Log gibt leider keine weiteren Hinweise.
Auch der Apache error.log ist unauffällig, was die Startproblematik betrifft. Zwei Dinge sind daran jedoch auffällig:
1. Die "client denied by server configuration" Einträge deuten darauf hin, dass Apache zu diesem Zeitpunkt erfolgreich gestartet sein musste
2. Dieselben Zeilen deuten aber ebenfalls auf ein Berechtigungsproblem hin, welches z.B. durch eine falsch gesetzte oder unzureichende Konfiguration in einer .htaccess Datei verursacht worden sein kann. Aufschluß darüber wo man anfangen kann zu schauen kann der dazugehörige Zeitabschnitt aus dem Apache access.log geben.

Auch wenn das control Panel log (mangels der Berechtigung mit der das control panel geöffnet wurde) keinen Portkonflikt anzeigt, kann es sich dennoch immernoch um einen handeln. Daher ist es anzuraten, die xampp-control.exe mit "Rechtsklick => als Administrator ausführen" zu starten.

Weiterhin kann die Rückgabe des apache_start.bat immernoch Hinweise auf die Ursache geben.

Ähm... wir benötigen nicht den eigentlichen Inhalt, sondern die Meldungen die diese Datei produziert, wenn du sie ausführst (also zum Beispiel per Doppelclick).

Und dies die Fehler-Meldung, wenn ichxampp-control.exe als Administrator ausführe: [...]

Diese Meldungen sind leider auch unauffällig.

Wo ich Apache Access.log finde, ist mir nicht klar.

Ich habe xampp erst installiert und wollte danach Joomla herunterladen. Da ich bisher noch gar nichts damit angefangen habe, stelle ich mir die Frage, ob es nicht einfacher wäre, wenn ich einfach das System auf vor xampp wiederherstelle und von vorn beginne. Dazu müsste ich natürlich wissen, was ich diesmal anders anstellen soll. So habe ich es diesmals gemacht:
Mit dem Installer die Version xampp for Windows 1.8.3. von appachefriends.org heruntergeladen. Gespeichert unter xxx. Ausführen und dann im Set-up Wizzard die Häckchen FileZilla | Mercury Mail Server | Tomcat | Perl | Webalizer entfernt.

Da haben wir doch schonmal etwas.
Beende bitte mal alle XAMPP Komponenten (inklusive des control panel) und führe die setup_xampp.bat Datei aus.
Diese Datei sollte Pfade in unterschiedlichsten Konfigurationsdateien geradeziehen.
Danach solltest du das Control Panel wie vorgesehen verwenden und Apache starten können.

Mir ist nicht klar, wo ich diese Eingabe machen soll: \xampp\apache\logs\access.log

Das ist der Pfad zur Datei, ausgehend von dem Standardinstallationsverzeichnis C:\
In deinem Fall wäre der vollständige Pfad C:\joomla\xampp\apache\logs\access.log

Da ich bisher noch gar nichts damit angefangen habe, stelle ich mir die Frage, ob es nicht einfacher wäre, wenn ich einfach das System auf vor xampp wiederherstelle und von vorn beginne.

Da wir jetzt die Ursache kennen wäre der von dir vorgeschlagene Weg der eindeutig aufwändigere.
Bleibt aber eine Option falls der von mir vorgeschlagene Weg nicht funktionieren sollte.

Die Schlusszeile der Antwort auf setup_xampp.bat lautet: Sorry, but ... nothing to do!
Und entsprechend ändert sich auch nichts, wenn ich im Control Panel (als Administrator) Apache wieder starte.

Apache\ogs\Access.log finde ich nicht. Das einzige .log File das ich ausfindig machen kann lautet xampp-control.log und beinhaltet folgendes:

Letztendlich kann Apache auf sein Wurzelverzeichnis nicht zugreifen. Das setup_xampp.bat Script arbeitet nicht immer zu 100% zuverlässig, daher überprüfe bitte einmal in der Datei C:\joomla\xampp\apache\conf\httpd.conf ungefähr in Zeile 242 welchen Wert die Einstellung DocumentRoot besitzt,

Die andere mögliche Ursache auf das Verzeichnis nicht zugreifen zu können wäre, wenn es durch Sicherheitseinrichtungen des Betriebssystems oder Drittanbietersoftware daran gehindert wird, oder das Verzeichnis unter diesem Laufwerksbuchstaben für den ausführenden Benutzer nicht Verfügbar ist (dies trifft in aller Regel aber nicht auf die Systemplatte C zu).

Die Datei conf\httpd\conf ist leer - ebenfalls 4 weitere Dateien im selben Ordner: charset.conv | Magic | mime.types | openssl.cnf

Die Dateien sollten alle nicht leer sein.
Daher ist XAMPP nocheinmal komplett deinstallieren und neuinstallieren die einzige Möglichkeit.
Ich verwende in der Regel die .zip Versionen von XAMPP, da ich Installern in der Regel weniger Vertrauen schenke als meinem schnöden Entkomprimierungsprogramm.
Bei der zip Version musst du am Ende die setup_xampp.bat nur selbst von Hand ausführen, was bei der Installer variante automatisch angestoßen wird.
