Imagemagick

Postby filipepacheco » 28. December 2013 01:42

I'm sure this is an usual problem. I had once a xampp server on windows xp working with imagemagick and php using php_imagick.dll
I've tryed a lot of tutorials to set this again but nothing seams to work,
Which version of xampp + imagemagick + imagick dll work on windows 8?
Any recent good tutorial?

Sorry, I have not got as far as having to install it yet. I have found thru many MANY installs this past 2 weeks that I prefer 1.8.0 !!

Please try that install, maybe on a USB drive? And report back?

Why 1.8.0?

Newer, is sometime not better :-)

1) I had it and was fine on Win2K Server for quite some time
2) Just upgraded to Win2003 R2 in October
3) Seems to be fine for the most part, and I ma most familiar with it

You don't have to use Bitnami installs.
