New person here, and help needed too!

And new user of xampp also. I got over some simple issues by myself (like Apache server not going online), but this one is a doozy. I can get services online, but when I hit Admin, nothing comes up. My browser just sits there for the longest time "waiting for localhost". what am I doing wrong?

Can only guess based on your description. Do you have an index.php file in your htdocs? Did you change your default port from 80 to something else? What do your logs say?
