Xampp localhost authentication

I have successfully installed xampp.

Started lampp successfully.

If i go to http://localhost, it is asking me for username and password.

Where can i find them?

Please help.

Xampp does not ask for any username or password after a fresh install. You must be mixing up things.

It works now.

User name default: xampp

password i set using the command ./lampp security
