How to manage a Mercury Mail Server ?

I have activated XAMPP, and Mercury Mail Server, but I don't know how to let the Mercury Mail Server sending and receiving mails for one of mail clients.
I need a file(word , pdf, or other) that it can guide me to let the Mercury Mail Server sending and receiving mails for one of mail clients.
