Administrators Rights, Port 80 Conflict

Hi,
I don't have much experience of programming in general.
I downloaded XAMPP in May 2013 and have been working quite happily until recently when it seemed to me there was a bug inMySQL, which I hoped to fix by uninstalling and reinstalling V1.8.3, which I have now done. However, Control Panel v3.2.1 now gives me: -

I just want to get back to PHP and MySQL as quickly as possible. Any ideas, taking into account my relative lack of experience?

If you would run your XAMPP control panel with elevated administration rights (rightclick -> run as Administrator) you could resolve the PID your control panel is pointing to.
The other possibility would be to show the PID in your Task Managers processes tab and search PID 2084 by yourself.

Your thread would be even more helpful for others if you would tell us which program was blocking your ports and how you solved it

I don't know which program was blocking my ports, but I solved it as you suggested: "rightclick", etc. I didn't want to spend any more time on it because my main problem was as per my other post on this website, which reinstalling a contemporary version of XAMPP hasn't solved.
