Error runnig Tomcat in XAMPP 1.8.2

hello there.
i recently installed xampp 1.8.2 through an installer.everything runs fine except tomcat.i have 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup' installed on my desktop.but the xampp,control panel,gives an error as soon as i try running tomcat. And yes m running windows 7-32 bit.
i have have playing around with this thing for around a week but m unable to get it right.please help me to fix it.would be highly appreciable.
