Are there any development roadmaps or plans to upgrade the Apache version in XAMPP to 2.4.6? Or, can anyone recommend an addon/process to upgrade Apache manually in XAMPP 1.8.2? Currently running XAMPP in Windows Server 2003 SP2.

Sure, XAMPP will get heavily updating cooperating with Bitnami.
If Apache 2.4.6 will be the next version i don't know, but it will be the at this time current one.
But why do you think that Apache 2.4.4 doesn't fit your needs?
