New XAMPP can't start FileZilla

Good afternoon, this is my first post and first XAMPP install.
So far the only problem I can see [before I try out Dreamweaver] is that I cannot Start FileZilla.
The FileZilla folder exists in the XAMPP directory but the 'Start' button does not work.
Using 'Services' button to try and start brings up error message 1053. [timed out I believe]
