Update XAMPP Linux 1.8.2

I have tried to update and everything seems to be right, but nothing has changed: apache, mysql and php are the old and not the new ones. Must I delete the previous version of XAMPP???

yes.
In the past there was an explicit upgrade package for the XAMPP for Linux release.
Every other release was an uninstall first version.
