I'm using XAMPP 1.8.2 on Windows 7 32-bit. I am using the Control Panel 3.2.1.

Did you install over an existing XAMPP installation?

no it's this is the first time that i installed XAMPP but i already installed wampserver ,

I have the same problem but in my case I installed xampp over an existing installation.
I tried to cancell it but something doesn't work ... What I have to do?

Hello,

Unfortunately, you would probably be best off reinstalling it. Trying to install over an existing installation when there are major different versions could cause all sorts of strange issues. You could install the new one to a new location and copy over your website from the broken one.
