SENDMAIL problem at XAMPP 1.8.1 at WINDOWS 8

In the past I used the XAMPP of the older version (maybe 1.7) which does still work prefect at my old laptop running under Windows 7 64-bit.

This week I installed the XAMPP of the new version 1.8.1 at my new laptop running under Windows 8 64-bit, but the sendmail procedure does NOT work any longer! I used the SAME SMTP en SENDMAIL_FROM options as at my old laptop!

What and where should I done wrong?

I have installed XAMPP without: FileZilla FTP Server, Mercury and Perl.
