OSclass in XAMPP enviroment - No style with index.php

Hi all,

I have been tasked with adding a classifieds section to our intranet and so I decided that I wanted to use OSclass.

What I have done so far:

Downloaded XAMPP and installed it. I have MySQL database set up and Apache listening on port 80. This works absolutely fine. I have then downloaded and installed OSclass, linking it up to the database I created in MySQL. This all works fine. Because this is on one of our low traffic server boxes I have also configured the shares on the XAMPP file. The shares have been set so that domain users can access the contents etc.

With all of this working fine, when I open up OSclass in IE on the testing environment using “http://BoxName/osclass/index.php” it works absolutely fine. The webpage is fully styled and functions as I expect it to. Looks great!!!

HOWEVER,

When I try the same URL for the OSclass webpage on my own personal laptop still on the network all the style has been removed and it’s all cluttered down the left hand column. To see if it would alleviate the problem, I also tried “http://BoxIPAddress/osclass/index.php” ...This had the same affect and none of the style was present.

My question is: Does anyone know why the webpages style works on the box I have installed XAMPP and OSclass on but as soon as I try it on another network computer it doesn't load the style sheet with it. Any advice is good and a solution even better.

I have also posted this on the osClass forum and was told to try the following:

With some applications (phpEclipse, phpBB etc.) are problems with displaying great files rpictures. This problem can be solved in the /xampp/Apache/conf/httpd.conf these lines
# EnableSendfile offstage
# EnableMMAP offstage
Please activate these lines by removing #:
EnableSendfile offstage
EnableMMAP offstage
Apache restart.

This hasn't worked and I still have the same problem. No style being pulled through on different domain computers.
