Hi All,
Q here. OK, I did a google of the above error, and the web lit up. Seems everyone in the world is getting this error, but all for different reasons. I never found anyone getting this error for the same reasons I am. So here goes........
I have been following a PHP tutorial, and coding etc. It seems I have no trouble at all when I am simply writing static web documents in either HTML or PHP. But as soon as I try either a "get" or "post", and capture the data in PHP, I get this error. Now here is a simple code snippet that produces this error every time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<?php
if( $_GET["name"] || $_GET["age"] )
{
echo "Welcome ". $_GET['name']. "<br />";
echo "You are ". $_GET['age']. " years old.";
exit();
}
?>
<html>
<body>
<form action="<?php $_PHP_SELF ?>" method="GET">
Name: <input type="text" name="name" />
Age: <input type="text" name="age" />
<input type="submit" />
</form>
</body>
</html>
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This code is copied verbatim from the tutorial, so my assumption is the code is correct, but probably some configuration is messed up.
Please bear in mind, I know little to nothing about the configurations, so please try to explain anything in layman's terms.
Thanx. Q.
