Apache Shutting Down Unexpectedly

Postby skeeterz71 » 02. February 2013 08:42

Hi,

I installed XAMPP today. Everything was working fine. I got wordpress and dreamweaver to work with it.

XAMPP
1.8.1
control panel 3.1.0
win 7 pro 64 bit

Then I rebooted my computer and apache won't start.

It says:
Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
1:37:27 AM [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
1:37:27 AM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
1:37:27 AM [Apache] Check the "/xampp/apache/logs/error.log" file
1:37:28 AM [Apache] and the Windows Event Viewer for more clues

This is from the error log:
[Fri Feb 01 20:38:57.242768 2013] [ssl:warn] [pid 5512:tid 256] AH01873: Init: Session Cache is not configured [hint: SSLSessionCache]

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Could you post the entire Control Panel log window output?
