Can someone help me please?

Problems with the Windows version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

Can someone help me please?

I installed xampp a while back and it was working fine. I wanted to try Windows Visual Web Developer and I installed it. After I had installed it, I was unable to connect with xampp. I thought that the programs were blocking each other, so I un-installed everything to do with VWD. I still was having problems with connecting, so I un-installed xampp and re-installed it last night. I worked fine last night, and this morning I tried to use it again and I am getting this error:

11:26:59 AM [Apache] Status change detected: running
11:27:00 AM [Apache] Status change detected: stopped
11:27:00 AM [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.
11:27:00 AM [Apache] This may be due to a blocked port, missing dependencies,
11:27:00 AM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.
11:27:00 AM [Apache] Check the "/xampp/apache/logs/error.log" file
11:27:00 AM [Apache] and the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
11:43:34 AM [Apache] Attempting to start Apache app...
11:43:34 AM [Apache] Executing "c:\xampp\apache\bin\httpd.exe"
11:43:34 AM [Apache] Return code: 0

If someone can tell me what I should do, I would appreciate any help very much.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Could you right-click your Control Panel log window, select all, copy, and paste the whole thing here.

I need to see everything above that error message too.

Thank you for your reply, hackattack142!

While I was waiting for answers, I once again uninstalled and re-installed xampp and also re started my computer and now it works just fine. Also, before re-installing xampp, i looked up my port 80 and it had iis using the port, so I changed it to use port 81. It must have done the trick because I've used it several times without a problem. Thanks again for your help!
