php --enable-zip

hi all,

i have a question. have the latest version of xampp.

but i need to enable zip extension.
i've download php_zip.dll from an older version of php and put it in the extension folder of php but it didn't work.
i googled for it and on different sites it says that i have to configure php with --enable-zip, because zip is already 'kinda' built in.

But how do i do that?

i removed xampp and installed an earlier version (1.7.7).

it's working now.
