I installed xampp on ma Air and I have write permission problems. I set chmod -R 777 on my Logs folder but I still get:

Message: file_put_contents(/Users/Gal/Documents/Work/Dictionary/Logs/Trunk/ci_app/scribe.log) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied
Is there anything I can try to do to fix this?? I searched on forum and most what I found was chmod -R 777 on folder to see if it's working but it's not.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm using vhosts so I'm not using htdocs folder at all. I have project set on different location and page is loading but with this above warning. Also project is in different location than Logs folder.
