[1.7.7] How to enable PHP safe mode?

I just enabled my xampp 1.7.7 [PHP: 5.3.8] as web server.

But I'm really worrying about security:

One of the thing that bothers me is that XAMPP wants me to run my PHP in safe mode.

But I really have no idea how.

Please help.

Hi pinoyengine,

it can be done in your \xampp\php\php.ini

BUT please don't do that. The safe mode warning in your XAMPP Security page is old fashioned if not to say obsolet.
safe mode is deprecated since PHP 5.3 and will be released in one of the next major updates of php.
