Hi guys,
I setup XAMPP 1.7.7 and installed everything seems to work fine. However if i try to access my site from an exteranl network which i plan to do it will always by default direct users to the htdocs\xampp folder.
I have looked around and cannot work this out!!!
for instance.
If you access:
http://aussieminecrafters.no-ip.org/
It will take you to my XAMPP security folder instead of
http://aussieminecrafters.no-ip.org/index.html
Which is where i want to start building my site.
I have all the ports properly fowarded as it worked before with same settings.
I created a vhost as follows in the following file - httpd-vhosts.conf
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName aussieminecrafters.no-ip.org
ServerAlias aussieminecrafters.no-ip.org
DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs/"
</VirtualHost>
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs/"
ServerAlias localhost
ServerName localhost
</VirtualHost>
but this does not seem to push the webusers to the correct location....
Can anyone help and advise me on how to make Apache act in a default manner?
