Unable to connect to my localhost

Good day,

I am trying to setup a localhost with xampp.

I had copied a copy of Wordpress into htdoc,
Get all the privileges ready,

But when I key in: localhost/(my folder name)

I can get to the Wordpress configuration window.
It's says:

Error 404

Apache/2.2.2.1(win32) mod_ssl/2.2.2.1 OpenSSL/1.0.0e Php/5.3.8mod_perl/2.04 perl/v5.10.1

I do not know what went wrong. Nor can I get a fix on my prob.
Can some one here pls help me.

Hi ThomasTan,

Please take a look into your xampp\apache\logs\error.log file for more information about where the file/folder cannot be found.
