localhost and phpmyadmin

I have installed xampps on my laptop their are some problem i have xampps 1.7.3 the problem is when i go to localhost phpmyadmin it says page cannot display.Also i have started mysql and apche i dont know what the problem is please help me somebody .Also the error log says

httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 35 of C:/Program Files (x86)/xampp/apache/conf/httpd.conf: ServerRoot must be a valid directory

Don't install xampp in Program Files directory.
