MySQL won't start

When i click it it says its starting it says running then the running symbol disappears and MySQL stops. What is happening. Thanks for the help in advance

But now i get this error "The mysqli extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration. <a href="Documentation.html#faqmysql" target="documentation"><img class="icon" src="./themes/pmahomme/img/b_help.png" width="11" height="11" alt="Documentation" title="Documentation" /></a>" When i try to go into the http://localhost.phpmyadmin

How did you reinstall XAMPP?

If you reinstalled into the same xampp folder then you may have issues.

Try following these instructions to uninstall then reinstall using the zip file mentioned.
